What you get

  • A full inventory of data sources: legacy accounting tools, Excel files, stock ledgers — and a written decision on what migrates and what archives
  • New chart-of-accounts mapping reconciled against your old one before any number moves
  • Opening balances migrated in PHP, reconciled to your audited closings
  • Parties (customers and vendors), items and stock migrated with de-duplication and naming clean-up
  • Tax codes configured before the first document: 12% VAT / zero-rated / exempt, ATC withholding codes, and the ₱3M-threshold regime that applies to you
  • Multiple validation cycles: document sampling, balance reconciliation, and a signed UAT before the final cutover
  • A cutover plan and full documentation of migration decisions — what moved, what converted, what was left — for your auditor and your CAS registration file

How a Philippine rollout runs

Most mid-market implementations take 3–6 months from kickoff to go-live. CAS registration support, the quarterly BIR rhythm and e-invoicing readiness are configured and tested inside phases 3 and 4 — not after go-live.

Discover

1–2 weeks. Process mapping, requirements, success metrics — a written scope document and a fixed quote in PHP.

Design

2–3 weeks. Solution blueprint: apps, workflows, integrations, data model — signed off in writing before configuration starts.

Configure

4–8 weeks. Odoo configuration, Odoo Studio tailoring, integrations, role-based access — local compliance set up here.

Migrate

2–4 weeks. Data migration with validation cycles and user acceptance testing before anything touches production.

Go-live

1–2 weeks, plus hypercare. Cutover, go-live support and hypercare until Odoo is simply how you work.

Optimise

Ongoing. Post-go-live tuning, reporting, and an upgrade roadmap.

Project stuck halfway with another partner?

If your Odoo project is mid-flight with another partner — or stalled entirely — we run a takeover audit before quoting anything. We review configuration, custom code, data quality and the integration landscape — including CAS registration status and e-invoicing readiness — and set down in writing what is worth keeping, what needs rebuilding, and what it takes to reach go-live. Your Odoo subscriptions and your data stay yours; switching partners is a technical exercise, not a negotiation.

Migration and compliance: open your books right from day one

A correct migration in the Philippines means your books open in PHP with balances matching your old close, your tax codes reflect your actual regime — 12% VAT or the 3% percentage tax under the ₱3M threshold — and your filing rhythm is quarterly from the start: 2550Q, 2551Q or 1601EQ as applicable, because the monthly 2550M has been abolished since 1 January 2023. The system you land on is a CAS, and CAS registration with the BIR under RMO 9-2021 and RMC 5-2021 is planned as part of the migration, not after it. And with the RR 11-2025 / RR 26-2025 e-invoicing deadline of 31 December 2026 on the calendar, migrated data is structured to be transmissible. We never touch the production system until you have signed the validation cycles.

Common questions about Odoo migration

Which systems do you migrate from?

Spreadsheets, local accounting packages and off-the-shelf tools like QuickBooks or Xero — any source whose data can be extracted. The first step is always a source inventory and a documented keep-versus-archive decision in the scope document.

Do we need to register with the BIR after migrating?

Your Odoo becomes a Computerized Accounting System, and CAS registration under RMO 9-2021 (simplified by RMC 5-2021) applies. Registration is planned into the migration timeline — documentation, audit-trail configuration, and the filing — not discovered after go-live.

How long does migration take?

Within a full implementation, data migration is a 2–4 week phase. Data volume and quality — not the number of years — set the real duration, and the signed validation cycles are the gate to final cutover.

What if we find an error after cutover?

Post-go-live hypercare is designed for exactly this: immediate handling of any discrepancy, with your old system kept readable as an archive reference for the agreed period.
