Odoo implementation services in Egypt, delivered by an Odoo Gold Partner
Oakland is an official Odoo Gold Partner delivering Odoo implementation services in Egypt for mid-market companies with 50–500 employees. Every rollout is configured for ETA e-invoicing and 14% VAT from day one — delivered remote-first from our Dubai headquarters, with senior consultants working Cairo hours (Sunday–Thursday) and fixed-scope proposals in EGP.
What you get
- A full Odoo Enterprise rollout across the modules you actually need — Odoo Accounting, Odoo Inventory, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing (MRP), and Odoo Studio where low-code configuration fits
- A bilingual (Arabic RTL / English) deployment so every department — finance, warehouse, sales — works in its strongest language
- ETA e-invoicing setup: ERP registration on the ETA portal, API credentials, USB-token signing and GS1/EGS item codes, tested in the pre-production environment before production
- 14% VAT on sales and purchases with exempt and zero-rated treatments, and a chart of accounts structured to serve your filings
- Data migration from legacy accounting systems or Excel, with opening balances reconciled before cutover
- Role-based training in Arabic or English (or both), with UAT scripts and a rehearsed go-live plan
- Hypercare support after launch, with a named project lead accountable from Discover to Optimise
How an Egyptian rollout runs
Most Egyptian mid-market implementations take 3–6 months from kickoff to go-live. Fixed-scope proposals in EGP, with the fee fixed per scope before the build. The ETA e-invoicing integration is configured and tested inside Configure and Migrate — not after go-live.
Discover
1–2 weeks. Process mapping, requirements, success metrics — a written scope document and a fixed quote in EGP.
Design
2–3 weeks. Solution blueprint: apps, workflows, integrations, data model — signed off in writing before configuration starts.
Configure
4–8 weeks. Odoo configuration, Odoo Studio tailoring, integrations, role-based access — local compliance set up here.
Migrate
2–4 weeks. Data migration with validation cycles and user acceptance testing before anything touches production.
Go-live
1–2 weeks, plus hypercare. Cutover, go-live support and hypercare until Odoo is simply how you work.
Optimise
Ongoing. Post-go-live tuning, reporting, and an upgrade roadmap.
Stalled mid-project with another partner?
If your Odoo project is mid-flight with another partner — or stalled entirely — we run a takeover assessment before we quote anything. We audit the configuration, the custom code, the data quality and the integration landscape — including the ETA e-invoicing link — and put in writing what is worth keeping, what needs rebuilding, and what it will take to reach go-live. You keep your Odoo subscription and your data; switching partners is a technical exercise, not a negotiation.
Assess before you commit
A discovery call with a senior consultant — working Cairo hours, remote-first from our Dubai headquarters — puts scope, timeline and a fixed quote in EGP in writing.
Egyptian compliance, configured from day one
Egyptian rollouts fail on e-invoicing readiness more often than on features. E-invoicing has been mandatory for B2B and B2G transactions since the ETA completed its obligation phases in December 2022, and the integration is concrete work: registering your ERP on the ETA portal, receiving API credentials, signing documents with a USB token, coding items with GS1 or EGS codes, and testing in a pre-production environment that is separate from production. We configure all of it inside the delivery plan, apply 14% VAT correctly on sales and purchases, and distinguish exempt and zero-rated treatments. Odoo payroll is officially localised for Egypt — progressive income-tax brackets, social insurance, leave rules and end-of-service benefits — and we configure and test it with your accountant. Your tax adviser reviews and approves the rules; we make Odoo produce exactly what they need.
Proof, not promises

Odoo implementation FAQs — Egypt
Is Odoo compliant with Egypt’s ETA e-invoicing?
Yes. Odoo integrates with the ETA system through portal registration, API credentials, USB-token signing and GS1/EGS item codes. What decides success is the setup: mapping your document flows, VAT treatments and the pre-production test cycle correctly — which is the core of our Design and Configure phases.
How much does Odoo implementation cost in Egypt?
Fixed scope, quoted in EGP. A single-workstream rollout gets its binding number from the fixed-fee discovery phase, and multi-module projects scale from there. Odoo licensing is separate and paid to Odoo S.A. — see our pricing page, with current user rates always at odoo.com/pricing.
How long does an Odoo implementation take for a mid-sized Egyptian company?
Most Egyptian mid-market implementations take 3–6 months from kickoff to go-live, in line with the phased method below. Multi-company, manufacturing-heavy, or heavily customised builds take longer — the Discover phase produces the real timeline, not the sales deck.
What happens to our current partner if we switch to Oakland?
Partners change more often than anyone admits, and the handover is a technical exercise, not a negotiation. We run a takeover assessment, document what exists — configuration, custom code, data quality, integrations — and take over delivery from there. Your Odoo subscription and your data stay yours throughout.
